A Typical Day at Camp

Hansa Soccer Academy focuses on the technical, tactical, psychological and physical components to play the game of soccer.

Coaches are instructed to take as many water breaks as necessary, especially during the very hot summer days.

Please note: Our camps are open to all players that would like to improve their soccer skills. These are not babysitting or day care camps.

9:30 am - warm-up - developing 1v1 moves for passing an opponent,

10:00 am  Ball-Mastery  working on foot skills as dribbling, passing, shooting, volley, drop-kick, trapping, ball handling, juggling, positioning, crossing, shielding, 1 on 1 attacking, 1 on 1 defending

11:15 am Break

11:30 am -  fun small sided games, explaining strategies and tactics, using skills learned in the morning

12:30 pm -  lunch (pasta, chicken sandwich, green salad, pizza)

1:00 pm -  relaxing with soccer dvd or movies, soccer trivia, raffles

2:00 pm - internal world cup games

4:00 pm pick-up (Fridays 2pm pick-up)

The camp closes at 4pm so pick up time is 4PM sharp. If you know you will be late you must contact the camp director 24-hours BEFORE the late pick-up to confirm whether it is possible to have staff available to work for the additional time ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , 773.366.6640). There will be a fee charged for this after care.

The Hansa Soccer Camp ends at 4:00PM Monday to Thursday and Fridays at 2:00pm. Due to late pick ups a late fee policy has been established. Please understand that when a parent/guardian is late picking up their child, we must have at least one instructor remain at the site for the safety of your child. These instructors must be compensated for their time and this can ultimately cause an increase in our program fees for everyone.

Effective June 19, 2012 the following guidelines will be followed:

-A $20 late fee (per child) is charged for the first 15 minutes after the program closes.

-An additional late fee of $20 will be charged for the next 15 minutes. For example, if a parent arrives at 4:16PM, he or she will incur an additional $20 late fee, total fee is now $40 (per child).

-If a parent arrives after 4:30PM, the fee will increase with a $20 charge (total charge for being 45 minutes late would be $60)

-***Late fee is to be paid immediately upon your arrival;failure to pay can result in termination from the program.

-If after 4:45pm Hansa instructors have not been contacted and are unable to reach a parent or guardian who is available to pick-up your child, the township police department may be contacted.

-Time is determined by the time on the camp director's iPhone.
